Your team’s tools carry deep and rich insights into the way you work. If you’re reading this, you’ve taken the first step towards strengthening your data-informed approach to software delivery. Congratulations!

Presenting daily insights from your existing workplace tools, Umano is the digital coach that champions your teams’ success; playing to your strengths, spotting hidden weaknesses and promoting potential.

In this section, you’ll learn what you need to get started with Umano, and how to sign up for an account.

Before you begin - a checklist

Umano’s beta currently supports teams delivering with cloud versions of JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence and Slack.

To create your team’s project space on Umano, it is a requirement that your team uses JIRA Scrum or Simple boards to manage your delivery projects. Your board forms the basis of the team’s project data and contributors when creating your team’s project space.

Teams using these nominated JIRA boards and who apply the Kanban method can also create their team’s project space on Umano. Once the relevant boards are connected, we’ll be in touch to ask what iterations you’d like us to preset in your project space. You can nominate a weekly, fortnightly or monthly cadence. This feature is soon to be automated.

We are working fast to support teams on other delivery tools, such as Asana, Azure DevOps, Github and Gitlab. You can email us at info@umano.tech if you’d like to be noted when your preferred tools are supported by Umano.

Let’s get started!
